Slow is Fast
Snail Mail Club
A little pause from the noise, sent the old-fashioned way. Something thoughtful to slow you down, make you smile, and remind you to notice the little things.
Good things come in envelopes.
What’s inside?
Each envelope includes a personal letter from me along with a few thoughtfully chosen extras, such as a notecard featuring my art, stickers, a bookmark, or another small surprise. The mix changes each month, with pieces to keep for yourself or share with someone you love.

Behind the Name
What does "Slow is Fast" mean?
In personal growth slower is faster. When we slow down and stop rushing life we will stop missing the cues that life is trying to tell us. And often, things begin to fall into place faster.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's inside each envelope?
Each month has a theme. Inside you'll find a letter from me on what I'm learning around it, a piece I'm working on or have just finished with the story behind it, and rotating surprises. This month that's stickers, a bookmark, a Spotify playlist to slow down to, and a mini card with my art on it, envelope and all, to pass along to someone.
What's the cutoff to get this month's letter?
Letters go out on or around the 15th of each month. Subscribe by the 7th and yours is in that month's mailing. After the 7th, your first letter comes the following month. Once it's in the mail, letters to U.S. addresses usually arrive within about a week, and letters to addresses outside the U.S. within two to six weeks.
How do gift subscriptions work?
Choose six months or one year and enter the recipient's address at checkout. There will be an area for you to leave a Gift Message that I can relay to them. Their first letter goes out on or around the 15th of each month. Gift subscriptions are a one-time purchase, so nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel later.
When will I be charged?
Your first charge happens when you subscribe, and after that you'll be billed on that same date each month. Billing and mail day are separate, so your charge date stays wherever it lands and your letter always goes out on or around the 15th.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your account page. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. If you've already been billed for the month, your letter is still on its way.
The 3, 6, and 12 month plans are paid upfront and renew at the end of the term. You can cancel anytime, and your cancellation takes effect when the current term ends, so you'll receive every letter you've paid for.
Gift subscriptions aren't subscriptions at all, so there's nothing to cancel. They're a one-time purchase for a set number of letters and they don't renew
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Every plan and gift can be mailed anywhere. Shipping is free within the U.S. For addresses outside the U.S., international postage is added at checkout: $5 per month for the monthly plan, $15 for 3 months, $30 for 6 months and $60 for 1 year (gifts included). Subscriptions are charged postage again with each renewal. Delivery usually takes two to six weeks depending on where you are.
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes, you can update it in your account, or email me at lb@laurabethart.com. Just make the change before the 7th so your letter reaches the right mailbox that month.
What if my letter doesn't arrive?
Mail can be slow, especially internationally, so it's worth giving it a little time. If you haven't received your letter within two weeks of mail day, or six weeks if you're overseas, email me at lb@laurabethart.com and I'll send a replacement. It's also worth checking the address on your receipt, since that's often the reason.
Why does my order say “Waiting for details” in the Shop app?
Snail Mail Club letters are sent through regular mail and do not include tracking. Because of this, the Shop app will continue to show “Waiting for details” even after your letter has been mailed.
